Prescription Drug Benefit
If you have a benefit for prescription drugs, there is a formulary of preferred drugs that are considered safe and cost effective. Generally, it is less costly if you use generic medications listed on the formulary. Talk to your physician to see if generic medication may be an option for you.
Your pharmacist can provide assistance with prescriptions.
Please consult your health plan’s benefits booklet for pharmacies, as well as the mail-in program available to you.
Call the pharmacy program number on the back of your ID card with any questions.
